60 days at Alto: La Kitchen Interview

The restaurant La Kitchen by Westhive opened at Alto Pont-Rouge Galerie last September. The team presents the concept and their ambitions for the years to come:

La Kitchen: Who is it for?

La Kitchen by Westhive is ideal for anyone working or living in Lancy-Pont-Rouge. In our restaurant, customers can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and even afternoon tea from Monday to Friday. Our dishes and beverages are delicious, very fresh, and reasonably priced. In the morning, guests come for fresh pastries, a bowl of granola, or an Italian barista coffee. At lunchtime, we have many professional clients from Alto and the surrounding office buildings who enjoy our daily specials, tasty burgers, and healthy salads. In the afternoon, residents and families appreciate our coffee accompanied by a homemade dessert.

Why did you choose Alto Pont-Rouge?

Lancy Pont Rouge is the new business hub for Geneva-based companies, and Alto Pont-Rouge is at the heart of this vibrant neighborhood. The central location near the train station and the quality of the infrastructure were perfectly suited for our restaurant. Additionally, our coworking space with modern offices for teams and a large conference center is also located within the Alto Pont-Rouge building, so it's an excellent synergy.

What are your goals for the coming year?

We are constantly refining our offerings to exceed our customers' expectations. We are expanding our product range and will soon introduce Salmon and Seafood Poke Bowls. Additionally, we will launch an "after-work" offering so our customers can end their day on a pleasant note at our restaurant.

Your first impressions since opening? Challenges overcome, challenges ahead?

We are very pleased with this successful start. On the first day, we were almost "overwhelmed" by customers, but we're not complaining😉. With our clientele rapidly growing, we are optimizing our internal processes to serve our customers even faster with impeccable quality.
